Franklin Horton lives and writes in the mountains of southwestern Virginia. He attended Virginia Intermont College and Virginia Commonwealth University. He holds a B.A. in English. In his spare time he pursues outdoor adventures with his wife and two children, including camping, kayaking, backpacking, mountain biking, and shooting. His first published novel, The Borrowed World, was published in May of 2015 and quickly became an Amazon bestseller. Since that time he’s continued that series with Ashes of the Unspeakable and Legion of Despair. He’s also begun a second series with the 2016 release of Locker Nine. His latest book, the fourth installment in The Borrowed World Series is called No Time For Mourning and will be released on Valentine’s Day 2017.
